The complete list of prop bets was released Saturday January 31st at 5pm PST. After spending some time looking over the list, I’ve compiled a list of prop bets that I think are the best combination of entertainment value and also betting value.

I will let you go through the entire list, but I will highlight my favorite ones from this list and give a brief explanation as to why.

(1) Let’s start with “Defensive Score – YES”

I like this one because both defenses are pretty great. They have been playing well all post season and also rank 1st and T-2nd in turnovers in the post-season (trend or recency bias?). This is also the 1st Superbowl appearance for either QB. Furthermore, Sam Darnold ranked 3rd this season in interceptions thrown (also a bet in the list). I think there will be some turnover fireworks!

2.) No score in the final 2 minutes of the 1st Half

It’s no secret that teams try to squeeze in a FG before the half. That’s not in our favor here, but I like the value in the payout here. I also bet that each team will score a Field Goal in the 2Q, so we have a little hedge and chance to hit all 3. This also adds a lot of excitement going into halftime.

3.) Last play of the game will be a QB Rush

This bet is live the entire game which makes things fun and also gives you one last thing to cheer for, even if the game is a blowout (which would be in our favor here). What we are hoping for in this bet is a QB kneel to finish the game as that technically counts as a QB rush in the box score. So if the game is close and comes down to the wire, this bet likely will not hit! But if either team is up with <2 minutes to go, this bet would win!

4.) Longest Touchdown over 36.5 yards

I think that Shaheed for the Seahawks could have a big game Sunday. The Patriots will try to silence Jaxon Smith-Njigba, leaving Shaheed in a prime position to have an above average game. He is a threat to return a kick or punt, and also the deep threat for the Seahawks. We also have Diggs for the Patriots that could break a big pass play. This bet is also exciting and makes a big play even better. Nothing is fun about a 2 yard rush!
